"24/11/14 Stroke"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

Awoke to find paralysis in left arm and leg. Wife telephoned 111 with details and Paramedic car in the drive within 10 minutes followed by ambulance 5 minutes later and into A & E St. Peters within 20 minutes at about 3 am. Assessed by A & E staff straight away and held there until about 5 amt. Over 2 hour period at A & E I felt delirious which must have prompted second assessment and alternative treatment.. Thereafter taken to a ward, assessed daily for 4 days plus Occupational Therapy assessment, Xrays, MRI and change of medication. Recovered quickly and able to walk out on my own on the fourth day. Post check visit due Friday 16th Jan at St.Peter's with the doctor.
