"Maternity unit"

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff in the maternity department, neonatal unit and maternity operating theatre. I have had my 4 children by c section at Russells Hall hospital, the staff were amazing. They reassured and supported me before my c section during and after it as I was very anxious. The first baby I had at Russells Hall was premature and he was taken to neonatal unit. Staff were so caring and helpful at the unit and worked around the clock to look after my baby. In the maternity ward the staff were very nice and arrived promptly when needed. I highly praise the staff who are working in such a high demanding environment with so much responsibility and behave with such professionalism and caring nature with a smile and friendly banter. At such a vulnerable time as having a baby Russells Hall Hospital treats every individual with respect. There is so much support and encouragement with breast feeding and any other aspects of mother and baby issues/support. ( I did not breastfeed any of my kids after having the horrible experience with the midwife at Derby). Thank you again to all the caring staff at Russells Hall. I think sometimes you are not appreciated enough by patients.
