"I am a great fan of the NHS!"

I am a great fan of the NHS. The ear check up I had the Royal Hallamshire was excellent. I received great care from the doctors and nurses and I was treated with great respect. I went to the Northern General for a minor operation on my face. The plastic surgeon was excellent and I also received great care from them too. I think that because there have been so many criticisms about the NHS that the staff are being over careful. I saw one consultant, then the registrar then another consultant who actually carried out the procedure. Now I have to go back and have it checked by yet another consultant. I have been in management and it seems like a lot of money is wasted on the way appointments and time is used. I came from a third world country and the operation there would have only taken one hour while here it took four hours! I am a great supporter of the NHS and this country; I think it’s the best. I just think money could be saved by better management without affecting or compromising patient care.
