I felt unwell and suspected a problem with my heart. I went to the walk-in centre and the doctor listened intently, he was very good and I felt reassured by him.
I was referred to the EAU at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital where I remained overnight. I had various blood tests and x-rays before being seen by the consultant on Sunday morning. Following this I was discharged but have on-going treatment.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough. I am booked for a heart scan soon and am on 24 hour monitoring but feel ok at the moment. I found the staff to be considerate, polite and hard working. I was cared for efficiently and well. The food was great too.
I was told to expect a letter for the next appointment, which I did get but it was for urology. I have spent time on the phone this morning trying to sort this out but this is the only draw back.
I am totally satisfied and pleased with how I have been treated at the Royal Hallamshire.
