"Excellent care from start to finish"

On 6th Jan 2015 my dad suffered a stroke whilst at home, mum called emergency services & the first responder was soon there, quickly followed by the ambulance. Within an hour and a half my dad was taken to A & E, scanned, given clot busting treatment and on a ward. Such fantastic care and support in such challenging times by staff who just want to do their best. The ward, 410, have been lovely, patient kind and caring to my dad and us during his admittance and subsequent time on the ward. We were kept well informed the whole time and all our questions were listened and responded to. Dad has made a really good quick recovery, partly due to his own determination but just would not have happened without the prompt care and attention of the emergency services, A&E and Ward 410.
