I had an appointment today at the Ultrasound Department for a fine needle biopsy on a thyroid nodule. I was very nervous but I have to say the Constant Radiologist that oerfirmed the procedure was excellant. He made me feel totally at ease, explained what was going to happen and took time to explain a few things to me after the procedure was done. I felt very looked after, calm and glad I had such a lovely person doing the FNA. The Nurse who was also in the room was fantastic too, made me laugh and feel at ease.
