I was re-referred to the Townhead Health Centre Dental as my normal dentist cannot do my extractions due to me having a blood disorder, late last year in 2014 I had the same problem but it took 10 weeks just to have teeth out and I was left suffering pain for six months.
I have now been told it will be more than 8 weeks before they can admit me just to get two teeth out and in-between I am having to suffer pain which I have been told I just have to suffer it until I get my teeth out, surely this cannot be right? I am also a diabetic and given the stress the last time I had to wait I feel they were not interested at this centre. It was oh the teeth are cracked, 8 weeks, see you then. not even oh we can put something in it to relieve the pressure on the tooth. now I am having to continue going to my GP for pain killers who is not happy about the long wait yet again just for a simple procedure.
