"Staff treated me with compassion"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted as an emergency to East Surrey in November, last year. I was diagnosed with ulcerative collitus which necessitated an operation and the creation of a temporary stoma.

The care I received from everyone, without exception was superb. It was a very frightening and painful experience for me but the staff were not only medically highly qualified but, as equally important, they treated me with great compassion and spent time with me, understanding my concerns at all times.

Dear Mossey

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback. It's really good to read that you felt the care you received was first class and delivered with such compassion.

I will pass your comments on to the team. I'm sure they'll be delighted.

Kind regards
