My mother is currently on ward 43 and is terminally ill. From the moment she was taken to this ward I have received constant contact on her condition even though I live in Lancashire. There is a junior doctor by the name who I cannot praise highly enough and is a credit to the hospital. After spending 2 days at my mums bedside he was always available to answer any questions I had and also involved me in any decisions been taken. I enquirer if it was possible for my mum to return to her nursing for a better quality "end of life". He quickly made plans for this to happen and am now awaiting for my mum to return to her home. I clearly witnessed the pressure the nurses were under and they have my greatest sympathy, I wish I could of helped them whilst there. I would appreciate if you could pass my thanks and gratitude to them and their managers they are doing a fantastic job in very trying conditions.
