My daughter became suddenly unwell so we took her to Russells Hall A&E. Within minutes of our arrival she was seen by an experienced Staff Nurse. Following this assessment she was then seen by a doctor who was kind, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Sister then continued to monitor my daughter alongside two Clinical Support Workers. The treatment she received and the speed with which things were dealt with was very impressive. At all times we were kept up to date with test results and changes in her condition. During this time the department was extremely busy, but at no time were we made to feel we didn't matter. A very special thank you must go to the doctor and sister for their compassion and understanding, they were unbelievably kind and caring and despite the busyness around them we never felt rushed or that anything was too much trouble. We as a nation are very quick to complain and condemn......however your staff are a credit to your hospital and we feel very privileged that during our short visit with you my daughter received the attentions of such outstanding individuals. They are a credit to you and as such should be commended highly. Many thanks.
