"Nothing was too much trouble"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I went for treatment for broken ribs at the Royal Hallamshire and after a couple of visits to hospital was informed of blood abnormality. At the Hallamshire I was diagnosed with cancer (multiple myeloma). The doctors, nurses were all concerned with my stay and the treatment and care I received was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their empathy for me was of the best. The worst bits if any were me having to tell my children and my wife. The staff on P ward were of the best and now I am on O ward day care.
