About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Pharmacy Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Medicine (Wards 3, 4, 5 &46)

(as the patient),

At both Royal Larbert and Glasgow Royal received very clear instructions.

At Larbert the whole system was computerised ( and I understand robotic dispensing) which is safe and effective and releases pharmacists time to check medicines. Medicines on discharge also notified to community pharmacist where appropriate

At GRI they have a board wide system for supplying to local hospital discharges and each patient in many GGC hospitals have a medicines cabinet for self management where appropriate and for checking before going home. Both excellent systems for safety.
