"No respect"

About: Heartlands Hospital

Spoke to a local GP over the phone whom told me to go straight to the hospital, got their was sent through to A&E department, one of the staff was very abrupt and kept talking about me to other staff members. They would address me as 'that', 'her', 'it', i was getting very upset and they could see my reaction but carried on without attention to my feelings as a patient. Eventually after a good 5 hours i was treated but came out after three days non the better. They still do not know today what is or was wrong with me. Put it down to a viral infection.

I'm so sorry to read about your experience with the ED here at Heartlands Hospital.

I'll make sure this feedback is passed on to the Genral Mananger and the relevant staff are spoken to regarding their attitude and behavior.

With kind regards

Iona
