"take a compass."

About: Harrogate District Hospital

You will never find your way out if you don't get your bearings as soon As you enter. Take a compass it might help. There are no directions to the woman's unit or gynacology at all. It is near the restaurant. No 2.30 pm afternoon snacks in the restaurant as advertised online. Good staff though.

Thank you for your feedback, which we greatly appreciate. I am sorry that you had difficulty in finding the Women's Unit. We do appreciate that the building can be difficult to navigate. For your first appointment, you should receive a leaflet, which includes a map of the site and there are wall maps around as well. Some of our Patient Experience Volunteers are situated at the front desk and wear distinctive red polo shirts. A key part of their job is to help direct patients and visitors and members of staff are also always happy to help. Afternoon snacks are normally available in the restaurant and I am sorry that this was not the case on your visit. Thank you again for taking the time to contact us. Chris Watt, Head of Communications Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust
