I went into A&E via ambulance following post partum bleeding and intermittent severe abdominal pain. I was left in a bed waiting and waiting anf waiting, I thought to be seen by a doctor. Turns out they were waiting for someone from the labour ward to collect me and would assess me there. So basically because A&E were busy they left me as Labour Ward's problem and without any assessment whatsoever for the best part of two hours and as Labour Ward were busy they just left me in A&E and as I was unable to transport myself and in a lot of pain I couldn't tackle them about it. They didn't even bother to tell me they were waiting for the labour ward because they couldn't be bothered to treat me. I have had one good experience at this hospital when my son was treated for a finger fracture.
"post pregnancy goto the labour ward don't take no..."
