"Treatment and care"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

On the 27th December 2014 my father 83 year old was admitted to a & e with shortness of breathe due to as we thought a chest infection then to find out that this also had caused a heart attack his time in a & e you could not fault the staff and all treatment given he was then admitted to the acu were he was settled in by staff who again treated so well with all that they had to do for him then next the nelson ward were again treatment was top class and for him then to have an angiogram done on the 2nd of January 2015 of which has made him a new man and was sent home on the 3rd and is recovering well now at home. We as a family feel that too much bad is written about the hospital and are so happy to write how our experience has been.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback about your father's care and treatment at Medway Martime Hospital. It's great to hear you felt his treatment was top class; comments such as yours are great for staff morale. I hope your father is doing well. Kind regards Katy White Head of Nursing - Emergency Department
