"Ward 8 Gastro ward"

Over the years I have had several admissions to the hospital. Mostly Gastro related so have spend alot of time being treated on ward 8. The care provided by the doctor and his medical team was has always been very good. As a consultant he is very professional and very good at his job. He has excellent bedside manners and is very approachable. His care is always at the centre of the services provided. He understands and most importantly listens to his patients which makes a massive difference to the care and service provided. Little can I say for ward 8. At times of demand the ward is run by nurses whom have no passion for the profession they are in . Buzzers constantly going off not answerd within a reasonable amount of time. Nurses standing gossiping around nurses station, night staff even worse! Being refused drugs that have been wrote up by doctors .
