"X ray Dept"

I visited x-ray at the POW on Friday 2nd Jan 2015 at my doctors request, as a rib injury I sustained several weeks ago didn't appear to be getting better. The radiologist was very dismissive of the request from my doctor to x-ray a specific area stating we don't x-ray rib injuries. This was rather belittling to me as I was only passing on patient information as requested by my Dr. This ladies attitude was very abrupt and made me feel uneasy, she said I will do a chest x-ray as requested but not on any specific area. My doctor stated if the x-ray is inconclusive then a scan may be necessary, putting even more financial strain on the NHS because of the attitude of staff. I had my x-ray and left the POW feeling like a second class citizen.
