"Ward 22"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

My girlfreind had a baby on the 27 of December everything went well,we found that she was very low on iron got asked if she wanted a blood transfusion or go home and build it up herself so she opted to go home and do it herself which nurses respected.2 later my girlfriend became realy I'll so we decided to come back and found she had a infection on top of everything else so she got put on ward 22 in a side room which she wasn't seen to 4 hours later which is unacceptable I know hospitals can be under staffed but 4 hours realy? Finally her stats get to where they need to be for her blood transfusion we sit all day waiting for nurse to come give it but what I found was nurse stood in office eating and chatting away to one another when my partner needed them most.I think something needs to be done on this ward realy bad organisation and to many laid back staff
