"Good Old fashioned nursing"

I was blue lighted in with suspected heart attack, there was very little wait, the nurses all introduced themselves and were calm and efficient. The resuscitation ward was brilliant, the two staff nurses,day staff and night staff, made me feel that I was truly being looked after in the old fashioned way that nurses did, they made you feel safe and secure in the knowledge that everything was being done to help the individual concerned. Sadly this all altered when a bed was found in Ward 2 it was like going from heaven to hell, one of the worst experiences of my life and I will be writing to the Board of Directors on this matter.
