"We cannot fault the service"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a parent/guardian),

Our daughter was taken by ambulance to Heartlands Hospital just after midnight on New Years Eve after slipping on the dance floor. I spoke to the Paramedic on the ambulance who gave clear instructions where my daughter was to be taken.

We arrived at Heartlands before the ambulance as they had to attend to other people who needed medical attention. The receptionist was able to tell us the ETA of the ambulance. The paramedics were friendly and informative. We was guided to the X Ray department where we are dealt with very quickly by efficient and friendly staff. We cannot fault the service we received. Praise all round.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback regarding your daughter's care and treatment at Heartlands Hospital on New Years Eve, an extremely busy time of the year for Accident and Emergency Departments everywhere.

I will ensure that both our Emergency Department Team and Radiology Teams are made aware of your comments and experience.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, and sincerely hope that your daughter is now recovering from her injury.

If I can be of any other assistance, please contact me or a member of our Patient Services Team on 0121 424 0808.

Kind Regards

Marie Helebert
