About: Montagu Hospital

The pain management unit is a wonderful unit with wonderful staff. I have only had good experiences with this service aside from the odd cancelled appointment but that is to be expected - they are only human. My only concern is the in house management. Whilst having acupuncture I was appalled to hear the way in which the charge nurse spoke to the girls at the nurses station. It was vulgar, patronising and rude. One example was calling a healthcare assistant "(expletive deleted) stupid". Such as shame when the nursing staff work so hard.

We also strive to provide the best possible work environment for all of our staff so your concerns have been passed on to the relevant Care Group Director and General Manager and they will be investigated accordingly.
