"Catheter Suite, main Radiology Unit"

I attended the above department for an angiogram and was very impressed, both with the staff and with the efficient operation of the catheter suite. At all times the operation of the catheter suite was calm and thoroughly professional. The area was clean and the staff's attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal of waste/used items was prompt and obvious to all. All of the staff in the catheter suite are to be commended, including those in the “inner sanctum” of the catheter lab itself, but of particular note were the 3 nurses and who prepared and monitored everyone, plus the doctor in charge. The doctor could not have been nicer or more professional, and what potentially could have been a somewhat worrying first-time experience was in fact made very relaxed.
