Three months ago, I had the misfortune of breaking my leg and damaging a ligament abroad. When I returned, I was treated by the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The care, professionalism and treatment has been outstanding. Why?
The hospital have seen me on no less than seven occassions. In particular, the plaster room guys have been very kind. Nothing is too much trouble; altering and personalising casts to make me feel more comfortable. On one visit to the hospital I had to have an X-ray, see the consultant and have my plaster checked. I was in and out in 1 hour. That is world class.
Finally, I had metal work removed on this month. The staff were friendly, re-assuring and had a great sense of humour ( particularly the Italian anaesthetist! ). Next time someone attacks my hospital I will robustly defend it.
"World Class Service"
