(as a relative),

I would just like to make known how much we both appreciate the quality and efficiency, along with friendliness of everyone in the surgical wards.

You hear so much of cuts and unprofessional behaviour within the NHS, but we found only care and concern for the patient and even the visitor.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback regarding the care your wife received from the staff within our surgical wards. It is always good to hear when we get things right. As you mention, we often hear about the negatives and it is heartening for our staff to know that the care they provide to both patients and relatives is appreciated.
