"Could you do it...? Thank goodness they do."

They all said it's their job and that it's what they're there for...! I want to put on record the absolutely wonderful care and support that I have received from all the staff in Torbay Hospital over the past six months. From the sisters, nurses, auxiliaries, trainees, cleaners, etc. on Allerton Ward, who carried out their ‘sometimes less than glamorous’ duties in the most friendly, caring and efficient manner to the receptionists and other staff who have routinely greeted me with smiles, advice and offers to guide me through the labyrinth that is Torbay Hospital. From all the staff in the various departments I have liaised with…Oncology, the Stoma clinic, the Ricki Grant unit…to the Anaesthetists who prepared me for surgery in such a jocular yet professional and reassuring manner to the staff of the superb Bayview Restaurant, I can only offer my most humble and sincere thanks. I am scheduled to return for more surgery again in the New Year and I contemplate it with confidence in the belief that I will be in good hands. To everyone in Torbay Hospital I wish you all a Very Happy Christmas and the hope of a Great New Year to come. Thank you all.
