(as the patient),

Yesterday lunchtime, I figured out that I was going to need a Zimmer frame by today..

I 'phoned my Occupational Therapist and asked her for one.

She said that was the physiotherapist department and she was not in yesterday...

"I'll mention it to her in the morning"....

8: 45 this morning the physiotherapist called "Yes, I understand, will you be there in half an hour and I will drop one off".

9: 15 arrived and there it was - the door rang and there was my nicely cleaned Zimmer frame, all set for me and ready to use.

I'm astonished at that speed of service - my stair lift is now installed and I nip around on my new Zimmer frame to use the ground floor of my house for the first time in a month - I can make my own cup-of-tea and my wife can take a bit of a breather.

Thank you Bromley Healthcare physio and OT departments.
