"TRAQs staff very helpful"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has been having headaches and dizzy/fainting episodes on an almost daily basis since returning to school in September 2014. After a few weeks of this, I sought medical advice/attention. Nothing obvious, no answers from GP. I have requested a referral to rule out something really serious or awful. Best appointment locally not until late December. TRAQs staff very helpful but the “outcome” dissatisfactory thus far.

Dear Pilot946

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with the TRAQS team following your daughter's recent referral.

I am sorry that TRAQS were unable to book a suitable local appointment. TRAQS rely upon the local hospitals to release available appointments. If there are no available appointments to offer at the chosen hospital TRAQS place the patient directly onto a waiting list within Choose and Book which the chosen provider has access to. The appointment will then be booked by the chosen hospital when there are available appointments and the patient notified.

I hope that you do not have to wait too long to receive an appointment and you find out the answers you are seeking.

Thank you again for your positive feedback relating to the TRAQS team and we wish you both well for the future.
