"Local doctor does not trust ESH"

My Dad visited the ESH last week and had blood test as he is awaiting surgery. He was told him he had anemia and he should visit his doctor and get some tablets before Christmas so he could have the operation after Christmas. His surgery made an appointment then when he arrived the following day he was told the doctor does not do blood test. He said that the hospital did not know what you were talking about and refused to see my Dad. He has a heart condition and this is adding so much pressure. The doctor said it was not bad enough for him to warrant tablets despite the hospital saying he does. He then had to go back to the hospital on Friday for the same test as he had done on Wednesday because of the doctor not believing the hospital. What a waste of time and money doing the same test. He still has no tablets. His doctor will not see him and they still say he is not bad enough for the tablets he needs for the operation. This has put a lot of extra pressure on my dad all because of an administrator at his doctors who refuses to talk. We as a family do not know where to turn next. We have had great care from ESH, but can not do this fight with his doctors in Horley and do not know where to turn next.
