About: Wansbeck Hospital

Got taken into wansbeck via ambulance (not for the first time) was quickly assessed and monitored as my illness was classed as life threatening. Was then moved to the MAU ward the staff were lovely from cleaners to doctors they were all very caring and friendly. Always had time to explain what was going on. We're a real comfort to me as I was very ill and got more distressed at having to stay in and was upset about being away from my child. They were just fab. Couldn't fault them. They had me back on the mend very quick. Excellent 5 star staff

Dear Sami, I’m sorry to hear about how ill you’ve been, but delighted that the team did everything that they could to get you better and back with your family in time for Christmas. A&E departments are incredibly busy up and down the country at the minute so it means a great deal to us to get such lovely feedback about our kind, compassionate and responsive staff – I will be sure to pass it on to the team – it will be a great boost for their morale.
