"Maternity ward"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I had my baby in QA on 12/12/13 I had a fantastic experience and the staff were brilliant. I had the same midwife all day which helps when discussing what you want and feeling comfortable. I had an epidural and they were reassuring even when I burst out crying with fear. The surgical team were great after I had to have an emergency c section as were the anaesthetic team. The care I received for 4 days afterwards was caring, professional and above all friendly. Each midwife introduced herself, checked me and baby, advised on breast feeding as I was having trouble and were general long wonderful. Even watching my baby while I got an hrs sleep! The catering staff where also great! You have great staff.
