I've always praised nurses but the "nurses"/ carers in the fracture ward are a disgrace i feel. Every time I've been to visit my gran in the royal they have all been huddled screeching and acting fools. I had to point out to one of them that my grans urine bag was completely full and was red in colour.. (Blood)
Because of their lack of Hygiene and care my gran is now suffering from a severe urinary tract infection.
That ward (the fracture) is most definitely not understaffed so they cannot blame it on that.
I am absolutely disgusted and outraged. The person beside her also contracted a serious urinary infection. I have never seen such a lack of care, the ward is tiny, roasting and the smell of stail urine is ridiculous.
For a ward of people/mainly elderly who have just gone through major surgery it's outrageous i think. my mum went to visit her and they left my grans hearing aids out, so she couldn't even hear! ! !
