From Thursday 7th May I was a patient in Morris ward in the Trent Cardiac Centre in Nottingham City Hospital. My medical treatment involves a double by-pass and valve replacement. During the 10 day stay I was in the IC ward, dependency ward and the Morris ward. I found my treatment to be of the highest standard both in a medical and personal way. The nursing staff were at all times attentive and caring 24 hours a day. I was fortunate enough, when it came to the final few days, to be on ward B4 with three very personable gentlemen. The whole experience was from that point lifted into a very enjoyable stay, not forgetting the seriousness of my being there. In total I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the medical teams especially Mr. D. Richens (surgeon) for granting me an extension of my life. Also an experience I will never forget.
