"Obstructive and unhelpful systems"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

My mum taken in with severe abdominal pains. Lack of organisation meant we never knew what was going on. When I tried to phone next day for information was told they could only speak to me in person not on phone and had lost the record of the number I left as next of kin. Also couldn't give us extra pillows it anything that might actually make her more comfortable. 'Rules' continually quoted as the reason for them being obstructive. I'm appalled.
