About: Clementine Churchill Hospital

I have now been seen twice in Out-Patients and once as an In-Patient, and on every occasion they have been running late! My visit today involved a 2&1/4 hour wait followed by a 7 minute consultation which could have been conducted by phone. I have now been advised that I need to travel to Brentford to get an MRI scan, when my treatment is for pain relief meaning I have difficulty travelling anything over a short journey, which this is definitely not being approximately 100 miles in total. My in-stay was no better. I was made to arrive at 10.00 for a treatment I was advised would take place at approx 13.00 and, I was then left with no-one coming into my room to update me on any delays. I was eventually taken down to theatre at 16.30 having had no fluids since 7am. The nursing staff for the most part were unhelpful and disinterested however after I was transferred to an over night room, the nurses there were very caring. I have been made to feel totally unimportant and I get much better care in the over worked and unglamorous world of the NHS Hospital.

We are sorry to hear that you felt unimportant whilst attending our hospital for appointments and as an inpatient. We would like to speak with you further to discuss these comments and concerns you have raised. Please contact us on 0208 872 8934 so we can investigate further the reason for the delay in you being taken to theatres. Kind regards Claire Armstrong BMI Healthcare
