Referred to neurology, headache clinic, at Ninewells.
Saw a Dr who was very brusque, verging on rude, dismissive and patronising. Instead of discussing history of symptoms and possible future options focused on, oddly, childhood experiences. It all went a bit freudian really.
Very grudgingly ordered some additional tests and made it explicit that my visit was a 'one time thing' and that I would not be receiving any follow-up, despite (again grudgingly) giving a diagnosis of migraines (you'd think then that a headache clinic would be the ideal place for follow-up!).
Then proceeded to refer me to another service without my knowledge. I only realised this when I got a letter through the post and phoned that service confused as to why I had received the letter/appointment.
Left the appointment (the original one) feeling upset and demoralised, as well as a bit aggravated by the odd course of questioning.
