I was admitted as a day patient in the Cardiology ward on 26th November. From the moment I was booked in with others the "professionals" took over. I was due to have a pacemaker implanted. I was put at ease immediately by the staff. Everyone was so polite and courteous. When I returned from surgery, the staff could not have been more attentive and treated me to toast and a cup of tea. It really was appreciated.I was starving! These days when you see the National newspapers doom and gloom about the NHS you wonder about the morale of the NHS staff. The Consulting Cardiologist should be proud of his team because they were "on the ball" in so much I am naming the staff who were on duty that day. A credit to the NHS
"A great service by the professionals"
