"Happy with my treatment"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I am a 70 year old male, who after a low blood count at my Warfarin clinic, I was found to be anaemic. After numerous scans a problem was found in my colon and I was informed I had bowel cancer. I was then admitted to the Royal Balckburn Hospital to ward C14. The medical team there arranged surgery and within a few weeks the procedure was done. The aftercare from all the staff was superb. Ever morning this ward was visited by the consultants and his team who put my worries and concerns at ease. My stay was very short but I came home feeling very happy with my treatment and help. Thanks.
