Admitted to A& E after collapse & recent diagnosis of gallstones. Transferred to Emergency assessment unit for overnight stay while blood results were studied & put on drip. I was so very impressed with the nursing staff who although were extremely busy, were so friendly & caring. Particular thanks to one member of staff (who didn't normally work on EAU) and another member of staff - who kept everyone smiling. Also very impressed with the consultants who were on duty in both departments and who actually listened to all of my complicated story and put me at ease.
