My husband john was admitted to RSCH on Sunday,26/10/2014 as an emergency patient from Conquest Hospital,Hastings. He was very unwell and in a great deal of abdominal pain. I wish to record our gratitude to the surgeon who accepted him and later performed life saving surgery on him. Also to the doctor who worked alongside the surgeon during surgery They kept John informed of how things were going and put him on the list for 30th October. His communication skills are excellent and much appreciated. No" talking down" to patients with him. We wish to nominate them for a Patient's Choice award.Personally I would nominate them for an OBE,so much more deserving than the "celebrities"who normally receive those awards. Also many thanks to the anaesthetists involved.Thank you.
