"MAU and Respiratory Unit"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I got admitted to QA (firstly Medical Assessment Unit then Respiratory Unit) with pneumonia and was cared for fantastically from start to finish! They answered all of my questions, were extremely co-operative and seemed happy to be taking care of all of us that were in the unit. The thing that surprised me the most was the quality of the food, it was excellent! I have had worse food in restaurants! Overall I extremely pleased with the quality of care I received. I really cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough. To be able to provide such a fantastic quality of care, whilst being severely underpaid is incredible!

Wow! Thank you so much for sending us such a positive and detailed account of your recent admission. We are so pleased that you experienced good communication, enjoyed the food and are pleased with your overall care. Please be assured that we will of course pass your kind words on to the relevant staff in the Medical Assessment Unit and in the Respiratory Department for their information.
