Went for a sigmoidoscopy and was terrified as the last one I had was slightly uncomfortable to say the least, they were fantastic from giving advice over the phone (don't hesitate to ask to speak to a nurse so you get the correct info I didn't at first and got some unhelpful advice) the procedure did not hurt at all due to the fact its all up to date equipment and its improved loads in 3 years. Wouldn't be worried if I have to have another in the future, hope I don't though. Staff were very caring as well.😂
