I had a cardiac ablation procedure at Glenfields on 5th November and can not praise the staff highly enough. During my pre-op on the previous day, every detail of the procedure was described in detail and all of my questions, no matter how trivial, we're answered clearly and respectfully. The consultant and all of his team were professional and good humoured, which helped to put me at ease throughout what could have been a frightening experience. I was kept involved throughout the procedure and checked on continuously. everything went really well and was over very quickly. Once back on the ward I was offered food and drink as soon as I was able to sit up. Although it took me quite a while to feel well enough to leave, I never felt I was under pressure to hurry. Glenfields is a fantastic hospital and I'm so glad that I had my cardiac ablation there. Thank you to everyone involved.
