my daughter was 20 weeks pregnant with a little girl when at her scan no heartbeat was found, she was given a tablet and sent home, she had to ring ward 18 at 8am on saturday morning they told her to go in for 10, by 4pm she had still not had the pessary needed to start her labour off a the pharmacy had sent the wrong one, my daughter had to wait six and half hours waiting to start her labour off to deliver her dead little girl, she eventually delivered at 2.15 am, the midwives who delivered the baby were absolutely fantastic, they treated my daughter, her partner and myself with such compassion,i cant praise them highly enough, they also treat my baby grandaughter with the utmost respect and dignity, overall i cant praise those particular midwifes enough, one on the day shift needs to learn from them.
