My mother was admitted onto ward 33 a few weeks ago as she fell over at home and needed an operation on her hip to replace it. The staff from when she was admitted until the time we brought her home were brilliant. My husband and daughter and I cannot fault them. It was obvious they were running on the bear essentials the NHS PowerBusyBodies have left them with but always found time to answer my questions and really take care of mum. Due to her dementia I can imagine her possibly becoming quite challenging but they never let it show. The only critisim I have is to provide more staff but that is not a fault of the ward as I have just mentioned and it did not impact on the care we received. I would like to thank all of the nurses for really taking care of my dear mum. you are wonderful and lovely.
"staff were very friendly helpful and caring"
