I was released from a Private Hospital on a Sunday afternoon, (since NHS waiting list was over allotted time span), having had a de-compression operation on my spine. The after care in there was appalling I was sent out with 30 blood thinning injections with no advice on how to administer them. I contacted my Doctor's surgery Monday mid morning. They were very concerned for my well being. At 2pm the first District Nurse arrived and for a further 30 days I had the most caring, professional and supportive treatment. They continued to look after my wound as I had developed an infection where the drain had been ripped out whilst in Hospital. The District Nurses and my GP and all the Surgery staff were exceptional. I have nothing but praise for them
