Attended UCC. Twenty minute wait to be assessed by one ENP, then waited another twenty mins for x-ray. Seen by Hillingdon Hospital staff, good attention, pleasant manner. Great care.
Waited further half hour before being called by ENP. No introduction, flippant manner, looked at x-ray, said "not broken". Dismissive attitude. Silence when asked if there was any advice on treatment and why injury that had been infected, had now suddenly become swollen and extremely painful.
Responded, "put ice on it". Then silence, which seemed to me be their method of ending a consultation. I thought this was very unprofessional behaviour, ill mannered and verging on down right rude.
