"care given to my elderly father"

My elderly father was a patient in Southmead hospital for 2 months with a variety of illnesses. He always received very good and thoughtful care from all the staff at all levels. The lovely single room was a real blessing to him, giving him quiet and a good nights sleep and letting us, the family, spend lots of time with him. As he became more poorly the palliative care team became invoked in his care. And once again he received excellent care with plenty of support for him and us. We cannot speak highly enough of the many staff involved in his care and this wonderful new hospital.
