"2 accident and emergency trips"

About: Airedale General Hospital

I had to take my little girl to a&e last weds due to a severe burn on her leg, after looking round for 10 mins for a space to park I had to park all the way round at the nursery, my daughter was in agony and had no pants on due to the burn and I was running as fast as I could to get her help and at least 4 members of staff saw me struggling and didn't offer any help or support, a wheelchair would of be a great help, got to the desk she wasn't offered any pain relief or ice packs and had to sit and wait over an hour to be called in to triage, the nurse was disgusting, no smile no welcome nothing! My daughter was scared and it's her job as well as mine to reassure her and she did nothing, Absoloute misery! I rang and complained about this, but I ended up in a&e late thurs night due to horrendous abdominal pains and lost a lot of blood over the evening, I arrived and again felt so upset when visiting the triage nurse this time a male, he didn't ask me anything whatsoever, shouted at me as I couldn't keep still for blood pressure due to the intense pain so I actually got up and left! After only being there 10 mins I was appalled and will not use this hospital again! Those staff are rude and no care In the world! Once is a forgivable mistake but twice in one week is not right! And for me as the patient to leave as I felt so upset is horrible! Luckily after some painkillers I found at home kicked in the pain eventually went a few hours later! Absoloute joke!
