I'm surprised there are so few reviews of Deal hospital. I have used it for an X-ray on my shoulder, for the audiology dept. re my poor hearing, and when accompanying my wife to the Minor Injuries Unit to treat a nasty dog bite and to get the tetanus jab. It always seems a calm place, where people have time for you. The parking is limited but the streets around are fine for parking (apologies for any inconvenience to local residents). It is convenient for buses but not for the railway station. There should be more small, local hospitals like Deal. There have been too many closures of local facilities like this. Perhaps more services could be devolved to it. Not all illnesses require the high-tech of a big central hospital.
"Local and convenient. A model or the future."
